This week, I m binge-watching Big Mouth on Netflix, and somehow its theme song has become my marker for the end of COVID 2020. It’s an unexpected soundtrack for closure, but it fits. After a year that stretched endlessly, 2020 arrives at a quiet, almost peaceful ending.
There’s no dramatic reset waiting on the other side. 2021 will look much the same for now I still can’t travel or go where I want. But the stillness feels different. Less heavy. More settled. This song doesn’t promise escape; it offers acceptance.
So I’m choosing to start the new year refreshed, steady, and open. Ready to believe, without rushing it, that the best may still be ahead even if it arrives softly, one episode and one song at a time.
