In 1998, I dance for the first time with my wife to this song. We’ve since made it ours a soundtrack to a lifetime together.
I met her three years earlier at a badminton club in North York. She was beautiful, vibrant, and magnetic; my friend and I were instantly drawn to her energy. That summer, she joined me on skydiving adventures, mischief, and pranks, all of which led me to ask her out. Her energy and spirit pulled me closer every day, making the decision to propose feel effortless.
That was when I met the woman I would always love. My dream fulfilled. Every note of You’re the Inspiration reminds me of her and of the life we began to build together on that first dance.
